 Other water preservatives produce Chlorine and Silver Nitrate residues which are harmful to our environment. They can cause dermatological reactions. HFM adds strength to these exterior cells by allowing normal bio-activity increasing metabolism and self hydration from within. The cut flower is beginning to lose moisture through exterior cells and deteriorating during transportation from the nursery to the florist. HFM applied to the flower as soon as it is cut keeps these exterior cells active during transportation resulting in a much fresher looking batch of flowers upon arrival at the florist. For orchids it is important to control the surrounding environment during transportation. HFM enhances the orchid’s ability to acquire moisture from its surroundings making a noticeable difference in increased length of freshness. For potted orchids it is important that all buds bloom. HFM when sprayed on the orchid will be absorbed from all parts of the plants accelerating cell activity encouraging all buds to bloom to their fullest. For pot plants their value is in the beauty of their leaves. HFM used on a weekly basis dramatically improves colour, natural sheen and shine. Florists normally put together their bouquets or arrangements according to the freshness levels of the cut flowers they purchased. HFM increases this ‘window of opportunity’ with longer lasting fragrances, vivid colours and flowers that will be physically and visibly fresher for a longer period of time allowing more diversity in the design of their arrangements and bouquets. The exterior cells of a cut flower are not able to absorb the needed water if only tap water is sprayed on the bloom. HFM will increase the cells bio-activity which enables these cells to absorb the needed moisture and hydrate itself from the outside. Flowers taken out of their water supply degrade quickly, limiting Florists from making bouquets and arrangements too far in advance. HFM will allow the florist to begin at least a day or two earlier for large events allowing the florist time to handle more orders. Consumer enjoyment and satisfaction is watching their flowers changing and growing, they will be disappointed if all their buds do not open. HFM will greatly increase the chances of all buds to bloom to their fullest state making the consumer feel like they have received excellent value for their purchase. |
